Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
The short version
We set no cookies, run no analytics, load no advertising pixel and store nothing in your browser. We do not build a profile of you and we sell nothing to anyone. The only personal data connected with your visit is the standard access log kept by the web server, which is deleted automatically after about two weeks — plus, obviously, whatever you choose to put in an email if you write to us.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for this website is:
Chobichous s.r.o.
Aubrechtové 3111/10, Záběhlice, 106 00 Praha 10
Czech Republic
Company number (IČO): 24626813
VAT: CZ24626813
Email: info@meritor.online
We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the scale and nature of our processing does not require one under Article 37 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Privacy requests go to the address above and are handled by the responsible editor, Thomas Davis.
2. What we collect when you read a page
Nothing in your browser
This site writes no cookie and uses no localStorage, sessionStorage or
IndexedDB. It loads no font, script, image or stylesheet from any other domain, so no third
party learns that you visited. There is no analytics product, no advertising pixel, no social widget, no
heat-mapping, no session recording and no device fingerprinting of any kind. You can confirm all of this
yourself; the cookie policy explains how in about thirty seconds.
Server access logs
Like essentially every web server, ours records each request in a log file. One line contains:
- your IP address;
- the date and time of the request;
- the page or file requested and the HTTP status returned;
- the browser user-agent string;
- the referring address, if your browser sent one.
Purpose: keeping the site running, diagnosing errors, and detecting abuse such as
scraping or attack traffic.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and stability of our own service
(GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Retention: log files rotate daily and are deleted automatically after approximately 14
days. We do not analyse them to profile readers and we do not combine them with anything else.
3. What happens if you email us
If you write to info@meritor.online, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to answer you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to correspondence, or the steps taken
at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and (b)).
Retention: correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and
normally no longer than 24 months afterwards, unless we have to keep it for a legal reason.
There is deliberately no contact form on this site. A form would mean collecting your data through our pages, which would break the promise made above.
4. What happens when you follow a partner link
Links labelled “partner link” take you to an advertiser or its advertising network through a redirect page on this domain. That redirect page sets nothing and stores nothing; it forwards campaign parameters that were already in the address you arrived with, so the advertiser can attribute the visit.
From the moment you leave this site, you are on someone else’s service and their privacy policy applies, not ours. Advertisers and advertising networks commonly do set cookies and do track conversions. We have no control over that and we cannot switch it off for you. If you would rather not be tracked by the advertiser, search for the game in your app store directly instead of using our link. You will lose nothing by doing so; we will simply not be paid.
5. Who we share data with
Nobody, for advertising or any other commercial purpose. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. The only parties with technical access to the server logs are:
- our hosting provider, which operates the server infrastructure on our instructions as a processor under GDPR Article 28;
- our email provider, for messages you send us;
- a public authority, where we are legally obliged to disclose something.
6. International transfers
Our infrastructure is operated within the European Union. We do not routinely transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. If that ever changes, we will rely on an appropriate safeguard under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, and we will say so on this page.
7. Automated decision-making
None. We do not profile readers and we take no automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
8. Your rights
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to ask for access to your personal data, rectification of it, erasure of it, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent you may withdraw it at any time — though note that we currently rely on consent for nothing, because we collect nothing that would require it.
To exercise any right, email info@meritor.online. We answer within one month, as required by Article 12(3); if a request is complex we may extend this and will tell you why. There is no charge. Be aware that with only IP-based access logs we often cannot identify which log lines are yours, and in that case Article 11 applies: we may be unable to act on an access or erasure request unless you can supply information that lets us locate the records.
9. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the one where you live or work. Our lead authority is the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic; its current contact details are published on its official website. You can also complain to the authority in your own EU member state.
10. Children
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and since we collect no identifying data from readers at all, there is nothing for a child to submit through these pages.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not start collecting data quietly: if this site ever did need a cookie, a consent banner would appear and this page would say so first.
